Does it work for briefs, claims, reports or legal opinions?

Yes. Briefs, claims, reports, contracts, legal opinions or case notes: you get the draft out by speaking in Word, your email or any program, and you review and sign it. It doesn't matter whether you are a lawyer, a procurador (court representative), a graduado social (employment law practitioner), an adviser or in-house. ablalo writes what you dictate, in Spanish, at the speed of speech. It doesn't format briefs automatically or come with legal templates: you provide the structure and the legal review.
Is it confidential? What happens to my clients' data?

Your voice is transcribed on your own computer and is not uploaded. Only in Assistant mode does the text go through a European AI, encrypted and under the GDPR. If you don't use Assistant mode, nothing leaves your computer. We don't sell your data or share it with third parties.
Does it recognise the names and acronyms I use every day?

The voice engine already recognises more than 30,000 common Spanish legal terms out of the box (procedural, commercial, criminal, employment...). And on top of that you have your own dictionary: you add the proper names, acronyms and jargon you repeat, and ablalo remembers them for good.
Isn't it awkward to dictate in the office, with clients or colleagues nearby?

You don't need to raise your voice: ablalo recognises speech at a low volume, even a whisper. And it doesn't replace the keyboard, it adds to it: you dictate when you can speak and type when you need silence or precision. With discreet headphones, nobody around you notices. You choose at every moment.
Do I need a microphone or will my laptop's do?

The laptop's is fine to start with, but it is far from your mouth and picks up the whole room: the keyboard, the air conditioning and the conversation next door. A gooseneck microphone, twenty centimetres away, hears your voice and little else. You notice it in the accuracy, and above all it lets you dictate quietly without having to raise your voice in a shared office. If you are going to buy one, we use the BOYA BY-GM18: it connects by USB without installing anything and stays on your desk.
Which programs does it work in? Do I need to install a plugin?

It works in any program where you can type, with no plugins or per-app setup: Word, your email (Outlook, Gmail), the browser, your case management software or a PDF. You install ablalo once, use a single keyboard shortcut and the text appears wherever you are typing, as if you had just typed it yourself.
I type fast. Is it still worth it for me?

Most people type well below their speaking speed, and that is where voice gives you time back. Besides, nobody takes your keyboard away: voice is one more option. And the value isn't just speed, it's getting the draft out without starting from a blank page.

In the Hearings tab you drop in the video of a hearing or the audio of a meeting in Spanish and ablalo transcribes it on your own computer, separates what each speaker says, lets you mark notes at their exact minute and exports it to Word.
